Running a professional organizing company had been a dream of mine since college. On November 22, 2010, that dream became a reality when after four years of working for Simplicity under the guidance and direction of Carson Tate the residential organizing baton was passed to me. I would be taking over ownership of company!
To celebrate this exciting news, my team, along with Lori Martin, (the owner of the Purple Martin & Co), and close friends Scott and Ashley Mattei – hosted a memorable re-launch party. Simplicity’s founding goals would remain firmly in tack – but a new vision for the direction of the company would be unfolded.
Part of this new direction is Simplicity’s commitment to giving back to those within the Charlotte community that are in need. Baby Bundles, Dove’s Nest and Recycle Boutique were all on-site at the party to collect donations.
Our team volunteers our time, talents and resources to help Baby Bundles and Dove’s Nest as they work with women in transition. Our partnership with Recycle Boutique is one of many with “Green” organizations as part of our commitment to not just our help our clients streamline their possessions, but to assure them that their unused items go to those in need.
Sally Wright, of Salivate Catering, provided the delicious treats for the evening. If you have not heard of this unique catering company, check out visit them on Facebook. Salivate Catering represents delicious food with beautiful presentation.
It is my goal for this company to provide our clients with not only a very high quality service, but also to equip those we work with with organizational skills and techniques that will help them determine what’s important to them and why. We don’t want to merely transform homes, we want to positively impact lives through organization.
Thank you for your continual support and for joining us on this adventure as we strive to live lives rooted in Simplicity!
